Tamika Josephs-Smith is the Founder of the Ultimate Woman Network, Founder of The Pink Event, a premiere women-focused expo, and CEO of Diamond Event Services.  Tamika is a Howard University, School of Business Graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA); Marketing Degree. She also received a Graduate Certificate in Financial Management from the University of Maryland University College.

Tamika continued her studies after graduating from Howard University, and became a Financial Planner and Investment Advisor.  She successfully worked in this field for over 5 years.  As a Financial Advisor, she received many awards and recognition, but realized that her passion and purpose was in a different career path.

In 2007 she boldly started her company, Diamond Event Services, an event planning business. Diamond Event Services has allowed her to release her creative and organizational genius while pursuing her dreams and desires to help female business owners actualize to their full potential.

Tamika has more than 15 years of combined experience in event planning, marketing, management, and financial planning – making her a go-to for various, well-executed events that work within a budget.

In March 2010, Tamika ambitiously launched The Pink Event, the premiere women-focused expo that gives back by supporting women focused-charities. Featuring primarily women-owned businesses, The Pink Event has become known as the ultimate women’s day out in the DMV area and East Coast. It is a must-attend, not-to-be missed experience for ladies who enjoy shopping, pampering, relaxation, networking, and other great event features.

Tamika and The Pink event have been featured on Fox45 Baltimore, Tea with Mali, the Capital Gazette, the local affiliate of NBC, WBAL TV.  In addition to volunteer work, Tamika enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and Bichon, Max, in Odenton, MD.
